A week ago we had the "I love you do you love me?" issue w/Connor. Well I told Ian that we don't kiss girls other than our mom or sisters. He looks at me and says "I know, but I would let Marlie kiss me!" I looked at him in shock and said "No" and he said w/a sheepish grin "It was just a joke".
Ok, I am not that stupid but he sure thinks so. What am I going to do that boy only seems to pick girls for friends and the bossier they are the better. Maybe it is all a ploy for him to get kisses. We will see what Kindergarten brings.

Bowling fun and more
Today was a fun day for the kids. My friend went out of town and asked if her son aka Connor's best friend could stay the night tonite and play tomorrow. No problem and of course it made Connor's day as well. We decided to take the kids bowling so I asked if one of Corrin's friends could come as well. So we all went bowling. Amazingly enough this is the first time the kids other than Corrin have bowled. Now that they are smoke free I felt good about going. They had a blast. Now if only I could always bowl w/o the worry of a gutter ball. But if I could use that little thing that you place your ball on and roll it down then it would really impove my score. They were hallarious! We then went to ice cream and now the sugar high is preventing them from going to sleep. Think Amy think sugar before bed duh! Don't they teach that in Parenting for dummies? That only keeps them awake for much longer and then they will wake up too early in the morn. Then their moms will want to kill me. But they are all great kids and a joy to have over so life is good... Not to mention that spring break is here and the sun was out and we even got a bit sunburned on our necks. Spring! Spring! Spring!!!!

My long awaited blessing
It took us 3 years to get pregnant w/Corrin and she was worth every worry and tear I cried in the process it took to get her. She is such a wonderful blessing in my life. I am so very thankful that God blessed me w/her as my daughter. I am so proud of her and the young lady she is becoming. She is so kind, respectful and very motherly to her siblings. She blesses me daily just by being her. I am thankful for who she is and how she stands up for what is right. My sweet sunshine!
A bit of comedy to make my day

Soccer Madness....
Today was the first day for soccer games. Corrin was at noon and Connor was at 1. Crazy to have to rush from one game to the next but thankfully they made all the games at separate times except for one and I get to take the younger on that day. Yea me! I think not. I love to have Donnie coach and make all the decisions but I don't want to really be in that role. I like to be the mom w/an opinion on the sidelines and making the copies w/the highlights so the other moms know when the games are and the snack scheduler. That is my comfort zone but knowing where to put kids for them to play their best not so much my thing. Thankfully the parents are pretty good about it. I will just say having an all girls team means drama and that is not my thing either. Unfortunatly one girl is the source of all the drama but wow can she put up a loud whine/fuss. Grrr... Therefore Donnie gets the dramatic team and I will take the other team that one day.
We went and watched a game after our kids played w/my favorite twins. They used to play for Donnie for a long time and it was fun to see them play again. But the game seemed so extremely long since it was 90 min vs our much much shorter games. Anyhow the madness has begun but I look forward to seeing them and hope to keep my sanity in the process... There is always hope.
